Do I need a fishing license?
Yes. Every angler needs a valid Oregon fishing license, and crabbing requires a shellfish license. You can buy them online through ODFW — we’re happy to point you to the right one for your trip. Licenses are not included in the trip price.
How many people can come?
Our trips are built for up to 6 anglers, so they’re great for families and groups. The private-boat crabbing & fishing option is also for up to 6.
Where do we launch?
We fish the Siletz River near Lincoln City, Yaquina Bay in Newport, and coastal locations like Depoe Bay. These are some of our best-kept secrets, so we share exact launch locations for trip planning after you book.
What’s the best season for what I want to catch?
Spring brings Spring Chinook and Coho; summer is great for steelhead and Chinook; fall is prime time for Fall Chinook and Coho. Dungeness crabbing pairs well with trips through much of the year. Not sure? Reach out and we’ll help you pick.
Do you guarantee we’ll catch fish?
We can’t guarantee the catch — no honest guide can — but we do guarantee a great time on the water. Captain Bryan’s local knowledge puts you in the best position for success.
What is your deposit and cancellation policy?

Can we keep our catch?
Yes, within Oregon regulations and seasonal limits. We’ll handle your catch and help you head home with your fish and crab.
How are our fish and/or crabs cleaned after the trip?
At the end of your trip, Capt. Bryan will professionally clean and fillet your catch, as well as clean any crabs you harvest, so they’re ready to take home and enjoy.
Are kids welcome?
Absolutely. We’re a family-friendly operation and love introducing kids and first-timers to fishing on the Oregon Coast.
